A line of unique coves with crystal clear sea and pebbles
Settled in a warm cove, amongs pine forests, Novalja has kept the old Meditteranean ambience, decorated by beautiful beaches lined along the coast-line which is a pure rarity on the Adriatic. Many of them are awarded blue flags.
There aren’t many places at the Adriatic that have so many beautiful natural beaches in their surroundings. Whether you choose to go north or south, east or west from Novalja you are bound to reach one of these magnificent beaches which will give you so much pleasure. Sand or pebble beaches are wide, sea is clean and easily accessible so they are the best solution for families with children. They are one to three kilometres away from Novalja and they make a kind of a ring around it.
The most beautiful, attractive and surely most famous beach in Croatia is Zrce. Its coastal part is a spacious pebbled surface, which in the peak of the season can be occupied by thousands of swimmers. Various elements of fun are offered, such as: waterslides, boats, bungee, jet-ski, life-guards, facilities for physically challenged people, showers,...
Life-guards work from 10am till 6pm, the beach has parts especially for children and non-swimmers. Part of Zrce, Blato, is treated as a resort of which you can get all the information directly there.
Disco clubs "Papaya", "Aquarius" and "Kalypso" and numerous smaller coffee bars offer fun and guarantee wild entertainment all day & night. Beach Zrce was awarded Blue flag.
