So, you've heard that scuba diving is a lot of fun and a great way to get up close and explore the world under the sea. But there's some equipment to buy, the lessons are costly and time consuming, and you're not sure you'll be able to do it. So you never take the training. Instead of foregoing the great adventures that scuba diving offers, why not try a discovery dive. Who knows, you may actually discover diving is right for you.

Discovery dives are offered at AdriaLink Diving Center (price: approx. 90€/person or 650 kn/person). Sometimes the discovery dive occurs in a hotel pool. Other times, especially at a season, the discovery dive takes you to underwater ecosystem where you can explore life under the sea on your discovery dive.

A discovery dive consists of a safety lesson where you learn the basics such as how to clear your mask, how to use the equipment, and hand signals for communicating underwater.

The AdriaLink Dive Center provides you with all the equipment needed for a first dive, including the mask, snorkel, fins, weight belt, air tank, regulator, and BC (buoyancy compensator) vest.

Your dive is a shallow dive at a suggested depth of around 17 feet (5 meters). A certified dive master or instructor accompanies you on this dive.

Emerging from your discovery dive you will be totally exhilarated and ready to pursue a new world of new adventures.
