Bicycle routes of the island of Pag

1. "Vodice (Pag beach) - Sv. Jerolim (St. Jerome's) - Gajac - Škunca (Novalja)" route

 It starts at Pag beach and continues through the settled area Vodice (it is some 4 kilometers long). There you can have a short rest, have a refreshing drink, a snack or a lunch in a nearby restaurant. At the 5th kilometre (precisely, at 5,7th km) of your ride, on your left side, you will notice a sign denoting the beginning of the route to the top of the hill Sv. Vid (St. Guy). If you don't want to go with this uphill path you can carry on to the designation of the 15th meridian which is at 6th kilometre (6,2th kilometre).

 During the 2nd and 1st centuries BC, the Roman state expanded across the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea, encountering numerous and hostile Illyrian tribes that rebelled against Roman rule for centuries. In the 9th century AD, Roman rulers divided the Illyrian province into Dalmacia and Panonia.

 On the island of Pag, which Latin sources referred to as Cissa, the Romans came across a powerful Illyrian tribe, the Liburians. Famed seafarers, the Liburians dominated a vast area of the Adriatic Sea during the early centuries of the first millenium before Crist.

When the World was born they forgot to give Croatia the Alps and they gave us the sea without waves so we had to do something, to find a good substance for a snow tracks. In the year of 2006th in the bay of Zrce was opened one more wakeboard cable in Croatia. The cables on salt water are rarity in the World but it does not mean that they are not good.
There are only few cables built on salt water, one of them is Cable Pag.

As we said before, ski lift is situated on island Pag, on Zrce beach, near town Novalja. Probably everybody heard about it, so when u will drink cocktails there, just look 200 m in front and you will see brightness of the day, :) cable park.
